BookBrawl members share
their passion for reading and writing by sharing stories and interacting with
each other through comments, reviews, and forum posts. This Code of Conduct is
designed to articular the values of the BookBrawl community.
Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and caring environment for people that love
fiction – whether they be writers or readers.
Please show your support and appreciation to the writers.
It takes a lot of effort to write a story and authors inevitably put some of themselves
into their work. Wait patiently for an author’s next posts and be polite in giving feedback.
By the same token, authors should strive to be generous to their readers and be civil with
Constructive and Supportive Feedback
Constructive comments are welcomed. Try to be
specific and respectful. It is difficult for authors to improve when the
feedback is vague or hateful. It is okay if you do not find the piece of
work to your taste. Simply stop reading the story and find another story
that you do enjoy. It is not okay to leave rude and insulting feedback.
These types of comments and reviews will be removed without notice by our

Carefully Tag Your Stories
Violence and sexuality in some stories may not be suitable for all readers. Appropriately tagged and categorized stories will allow readers to discover stories of their interest. Do Not Share Others’ Work
Only share stories that you have written or have permission to share. If you did not write a story yourself, make sure you have permission from the rights holder before sharing. Any work posted without permission or that is deemed to be infringing, will be removed by the site’s moderators without notice.
Do Not Spam
There’s a fine line between promoting your stories and spamming. Don’t promote your stories as a comment on other people’s stories. Do not link to e-commerce or other similar sites (other than through the book editing dashboard), or post comments to promote other products or services. Comments, reviews, chapter content, etc. that is considered to be spam will be deleted by our site’s moderators without notice.

Do Not Trade Ratings
Gain ratings by posting and actively participating on the site. The trading of ratings among users and writers will result in a work being deleted without notice.
